Also, not required, but I'd love if you dropped some CARTOON/COMIC/GAME HORROR RECOMMENDATIONS because animation supremacy! It can be anything from an anime to a game to a web original (like my recommendation, Murder Drones!) but don't tell me to look at real people's faces. Reality is too scary, even for me. :P

I wish I could reccomend some horror stuff, but I haven't been at all into horror lately O: I'll watch any free youtube project, though, so murder drones is going on my to-do list.

i remember seeing kakurenbo years ago and it really stuck with me, but it's not very well-known. i think it's cel-shaded??? also a short film so it's not very long, but i remember enjoying it a lot

I'd love to recommend things for you but I'm a huge coward so I can't watch/play horror, when I play phasmophobia with my friends I have to stay in the van because I get too scared :'C

I think Tokyo Ghoul was probably one of the only horror anime I've watched recently so... I guess I recommend that?

It's not a horror but 91 Days is such an underappreciated anime! For horror, one of my favorite horror manga to read is Doubt. Then of course the sequels Judge and Secret. Such a good psychological horror series.

I'm too scared to play horror games myself, but I've been fascinated by watching folks play Shipwrecked 64! Its a fully playable "lost N64 game" with some dark secrets underneath...

oh god it's been a while since i've consumed anything actually horror-related....
for games, i'm going to be very mainstream and say the original 3 silent hill games are peak horror although i'm not very good at them... i also like baroque for the sega saturn (which isn't reaaaally horror but i think the enemy jumpscares kinda count)..
i feel like trying to gauge what's horror for animanga is kinda tough for me because it's not scary to me. maybe shadow star narutaru..?

i am very scared in general so not a lot of spook from me but i always meant to go back and continue playing hermitage: strange case files (a visual novel with a lovecraftian vibe) which i started last years halloween lol. one day i will finish a game i swear

I can always recc a horror game, but I never seen a good horror anime unfortunatly. Hmm but for games; everyone knwos the classics of Silent Hill and Resident Evil of course, but I also really like Dreadout- Indonesian horror game but it very much felt liek a PS2 era game. Its very much Fatal Frame inspired and styled. Technically while not Colors applicable, Remothered wasn't too bad, it has a bit of Rule of Rose feel to it too. And another non colors one, I still love the FNAF games haha. But those are also very popular so kinda redundant to bring it up. But here i did it anyways B-)

Trick or treat! Corpse Party is a nice series of horror games. It also has an anime but it's not all that good. Disturbing, yes, but not good.

Trick or treat! My horror rec would be Iwaihime, which is a visual novel that was written by Ryukishi07; I personally enjoy it a lot myself even if it's not his best work.
